This values a working, undamaged device: a smashed screen or a «won't turn on» belongs to the parts market, which we do not price yet. Fewer than eight live listings and we honestly say nothing rather than guess. How it all adds up — the methodology.

What a used Samsung is worth — where the number comes from
The estimate here is not a price list or an expert's opinion but the median of live listing prices for your exact configuration over the last 14 days. Problem lots (iCloud-lock, carrier lock, rSIM) count as separate markets and never drag clean units down. A weak battery and measured defects adjust the expected price by factors taken from the live market, not invented ones.

Questions and answers
Where does my Samsung valuation come from?
From the median of live listing prices for the same model, storage and condition over the last 14 days — the same data as on the analytics pages. Only measured adjustments follow: battery health, wear and defects with a confirmed effect on price.
Why a range instead of one exact figure?
Because a market is a spread: identical phones sell for different money. We show the middle (the median) and the typical range that holds half of the live listings. A single «exact» figure would be invented precision.
What is a «quick sale» price?
The price a quarter of the cheapest live listings of your configuration already sit at. Ask for that and your listing is instantly among the best-value results, so it moves faster.
My phone is smashed or won't turn on — what then?
This valuation is for a working device: every price is taken from live listings of functioning phones. A smashed screen or a «won't turn on» belongs to the parts market with prices of its own; we do not price it yet and say so honestly rather than multiplying the estimate by an invented factor. Measuring it is on the plan.
